Rosengrens RPSR Grades V and VII Prefabricated Strongrooms
Rosengrens prefabricated strongrooms RPSR, grades V and VII, have been tested and approved by the German VdS test Institute in accordance with the CEN Burglary Test standard.
European test - high quality
Test standards have been set as part of the ongoing process to have common European standards for safes, strongroom doors and prefabricated strongrooms.
Strongroom doors and prefabricated strongrooms are classed from Grade V through XIII.
To comply with the European standards, ISO 9000 quality approval is a prerequisite and the Rosengrens factories comply with this requirement.
What is a prefabricated Strongroom?(PSR)
PSRs are constructed from a series of interlocking standardised prefabricated panels. For European tested PSRs it is a requirement that each panel is manufactured to the same standard as those tested. This is controlled by regular visits from the testing institute. The material used in the panels is compatible with the strongroom doors to ensure they meet the same test standard.
Rosengrens RPSR or concrete in-situ vault?
For privately owned premises concrete in-situ vaults limit the flexibility of the office layout and could reduce the building value. For rented premises there are probably limits as to what construction work is permissible.
Rosengrens RPSR enable clean and fast installation with minimum disruption to the existing business, in existing or new premises, privately owned or rented.
Standardised panels
The interlocking panels are extended in steps of 310 mm in multitude of configurations to accomodate the RPSR in the required area.
The range of the panels are:
- Side panels
- Corner panels
- Floor and roof panels interlocking with the side panels
- Strongroom module (frame and door)
The 1550 mm strongroom door module can be placed both in end and side walls.
Ventilation
For the continuous air circulation security tested tubes are built into all corner panels. A standard RPSR has 4 x 6 mm tube for the ventilation.
Alarm
Situated above the vault door frame are conduits which enable cables to be laid in the RPSR and the strongroom door.
All panels and the strongroom door are prepared for the installation of seismic detectors. The interlocking systems of the panels are constructed for seismic detection over a large area, thereby reducing the number of detectors to be used in the RPSR.
Installation
The panels weighing 300-1.000 kgs, are transported and installed by our experienced service technicians with the aid of the RPSR installation equipment. The unique bolting system of the interlocking panels eliminates the need for welding. The RPSR can therefore be installed in a clean and fast way without disrupting your normal business. As always, good planning is essential for fast and problem free installation.
Strongroom door
The strongroom door and the RPSR are supplied in the same European Grade i.e. 5 or 7. See RSD5 or RSD7 pages for more information about the door.
OPTIONS:
Internal wall
Depending on the use of the RPSR, there may be a need for an internal room. This room is easily incorporated into the RPSR by means of the Rosengrens security steel wall and grill gate system.
Grille gate
The strongroom door module is prepared for a grille gate to prevent unauthorized access when the strongroom door is open. This grill-gate may either be locked mechanically or electronically from a remote location.
