SLS International & Continental Range

The International range is designed to defeat the modern criminal using explosives, drills and force. Protective features against these types of attack form an integral part of the specification.

The Continental range is designed to protect moderate amounts of cash and valuables and has an improved specification to give additional protection against attack by force, drill and explosive.

Both the International and Continental come in 3 sizes and have a suggested overnight cash insurance rating of £7,000.

All refurbished safes leave our warehouse fully overhauled. They will have been completely stripped down, the locks and all re-locking devices serviced. Any worn parts within the safe or outside will have been replaced and the safe sanded back to the metal and re-painted. The standard colours we use are two shades of grey. A light grey, almost white, on the door, while the body is painted slightley darker.

Other colours are available at the customers request.

SLS International & Continental Range Specifications

BODY: The inner and outer body are constructed from 3mm bent and electrically welded high grade steel and filled with an anti-penetration monolith including a drill resisting alloy. The overall body thickness is 87mm.

DOOR: Sections constructed from 3 and 6mm steel formed to give an overall thickness of 38mm and filled with an anti-penetration monolith including a drill and torch resisting alloy in vital locking area for the International, the Continental having a drill and torch resistant plate over the locking areas.

BOLTWORK: Both the moving bolts and fixed rear dog bolts are of 28mm diameter steel and lock securly into spun steel cups welded to the inner body.

LOCKING: The keylock has seven brass levers and incorporates false notching giving resistance to lock picking. Alternative locking is by way of a 3-wheel keyless combination lock.

RE-LOCKING: A live re-locking device operates every time the safe is locked.

FLOOR ANCHORING: All safes come prepared for anchoring to either concrete or wooden floors.

DEPOSIT FACILITY: Both the International and Continental had a Deposit option of either capsule post or a rotary trap. These options, as with all refurbished safes, are subject to availability.
