SMP Salopian

The inner and outer bodies are constructed from B.S. 4360-43A high quality steel, electrically welded to form one solid unit. The space between the inner and outer skin is packed with a solid fire resistant and anti-penetration material. The total protective metal thickness is 5mm minimum and the overall body thickness is 89mm.

Refurbished as good as new

All refurbished safes leave our warehouse fully overhauled. They will have been completely stripped down, the locks and all re-locking devices serviced. Any worn parts within the safe or outside will have been replaced and the safe sanded back to the metal and re-painted. The standard colours we use are two shades of grey. A light grey, almost white, on the door, while the body is painted slightley darker.

Other colours are available at the customers request.

SMP Salopian Specifications

DOOR: The outer steel plate is nearly 13mm thick with an additional 6mm drill resisting plate over the locking area. The overall thickness of the door is 78mm.

LOCKING: High quality 7-lever lock / 2 keys or a 3-wheel keyless combination lock.

BOLTWORK: 29mm diameter EN38 steel moving front bolts and rear fixed dog bolts.

EXPLOSIVE PROTECTION: Secondary live re-locking device operates each time the safe is locked to protect against an explosive attack on the lock.

FLOOR ANCHORING: All SMP safes are prepared for anchoring to either concrete or wooden floors.

OPTIONS: 3-wheel combination lock. Shelving and Interior lockers.

DEPOSIT FACILITIES: There are 3 types of deposit facility for the Salopian, Drawer Type Trap (not 1412 or 1812 sizes), Rotary Trap (not 1412 or 1812 sizes) and Angled Deposit Capsule Tubes. Please note as with all refurbished safes, deposit facilities are subject to availability.
