CONSTRUCTION: The Grade VI incorporates the most ultimate development of Chubb barrier material to date, with Chubb flexbar high density, fibre strengthened matrix containing ultra hard inclusions, along with steel reinforcements. This provides exceptional resistive strength and a very high degree of protection against diamond drill, explosion and other forms of sophisticated attack.
BODY: Inner and outer steel plates enclose a seamless casing of Chubb flexbar to a body thickness of 84mm. An exclusive Chubb development, the material contains nuggets of extremely hard abrasion-resistant material and combined with specially developed cast material provide a high level of protection against all forms of attack.
DOOR: The total door thickness is 155mm which once again contains inner and outer steel plates with a seamless casing of Chubb flexbar which is anchored to an inner plate.
BOLTWORK: The door is secured by robust 32mm diameter moving bolts which extend from 3 sides of the door with an additional retaining bar on the hinge side.
LOCKING: The Grade VI EX is fitted with a choice of two high security keylocks, two keyless combination locks or one of each. The complex 14 lever locking mechanisms are operated by key bits that detach from the stem for convenient safekeeping. The combination lock is a high security 4 wheel lock capable of 100 million different combinations. In addition, electronic locking with time delay and other functions is also available.
RE-LOCKING: The Grade VI EX has both active and passive re-locking devices with the passive function fitted to a unique glass plate. This ensures that the bolts remain extended when under attack.
